They ensure that designs align with client requirements, regulatory standards, and project objectives while coordinating between architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers.Key Responsibilities:1. Design Development & CoordinationWork with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop efficient and functional construction and warehouse designs.Ensure design plans meet client specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.Assist in conceptual planning, site layout optimization, and infrastructure design for warehouses and logistics facilities.2. Project Planning & DocumentationReview and manage design documents, blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Assist in the preparation of construction documents, permits, and regulatory approvals.Ensure design changes are updated and communicated across all teams.3. Stakeholder Communication & CoordinationAct as a liaison between design teams, project managers, and construction teams to ensure smooth execution.Coordinate with clients, vendors, and government agencies for design approvals and compliance.Facilitate design review meetings and ensure prompt resolution of design-related challenges.4. Quality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure all designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that construction aligns with approved designs.Identify and mitigate potential design risks that could impact project timelines and budgets.5. Technology & InnovationUtilize AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other design software to develop and modify designs.Integrate smart warehousing solutions, automation, and sustainability into warehouse designs.Stay updated on latest trends in construction materials, energy efficiency, and logistics infrastructure.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.4 years of experience in design coordination, construction planning, or architectural project management.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SketchUp, or other design tools.Strong understanding of warehouse infrastructure, logistics operations, and space utilization.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Knowledge of construction safety standards, permits, and zoning laws.Preferred Skills:Certification in LEED, PMP, or BIM Coordination.Experience in industrial or commercial construction projects.Knowledge of structural engineering and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination.
